Tamia is hitting the ground running with a new single, “Leave It Smokin,” from her forthcoming LP, Passion Like Fire.
The powerhouse vocalist rides the Salaam Remi-produced track while waxing poetic about the need for true passion in her life. “I don’t want to talk/ I just want to lay inside your arms/ I don’t want to play it safe (no) / I just want to break every rule like criminals,” she sings.
The ’90s-inspired track is Tamia’s first release since her 2015 album, Love Life, which included singles “Stuck with Me” and “Sandwich and a Soda.”
