You would think that with the massive success of Black Panther actor Michael B. Jordan would take some time to chill for a bit and enjoy himself. Well, that’s apparently not his style, as he has just been confirmed to produce a new film about an all-black WWII regiment.

In his latest effort with his all-encompassing media company Outlier Society Productions, he’s setting his sites-behind the camera-on bringing the story of an all-Black World War regiment to the big screen. The action/drama “The Liberators” addresses racism and focuses on 761st Tank Battalion which led to the desegregation of the military, according to a Monday, March 19 report from Variety. Also known by their nickname, which is coincidentally the Black Panthers, the unit became the first Black armored unit to go into battle.

It’s not yet known if Jordan will star in the movie or not but after some fierce competition, Warner Bros. finalized the script deal late last week.
