Harriet Tubman is finally getting the recognition she deserves. Federal Parks have established the Harriet Tubman National Historical Park in Upstate New York. The site features Tubman’s old home on the outskirts of Auburn and the church where she worshiped as well. It will be a sister park to the Harriet Tubman Underground Railroad National Historic Park in Maryland.
This is quite historical and such great news for Black History Month.
