Attorney General Sessions has indicated that the Trump Administration will increase the use of the private prison system. This goes in the complete opposite direction of the previous attorney general and administration which reduced the role of private prisons based on data that declared prisons run by the Department of Justice were safer and more secure.

Of course private prison companies were thrilled upon the news and coincidentally, private prison stocks have risen over 100% since Trump took office. Clearly the writing was on the wall and certain people were already in the loop as to knowing this was on the way.
