Corey Mclendon arrested for attempted murder on rapper Young Dolph.

Arrest made in Young Dolph Case

Yesterday, a lot of people speculated that Yo Gotti was a person of interest in the Young Dolph case. However, the LAPD announced this morning that Yo Gotti was never a person of interest in this case and that an arrest has been made.

Corey Mclendon (43) was taken into custody after Young Dolph (32) was shot during an altercation in front of a Hollywood Shoe Palace store at the intersection of Hollywood and Highland.

Mclendon is being held on $1 million bail, according to the LA Police.

Police say the rapper was involved in an altercation between three individuals that started off as a verbal argument and turnt into a physical altercation. Young Dolph reportedly fell to the ground and one of the three individuals began shooting according to the police.

Young Dolph was able to get up and run into the Shoe Palace store while the three men fled in different directions. One man jumped into a gold-colored escalade and drove a very short distance before abandoning the vehicle and began fleeing on foot.

I can see how people would have automatically pointed their finger at Yo Gotti with their current supposed beef. A lot of blog and news sites posted the speculative claim, we decided to hold back until more facts were revealed.

Still praying for you Young Dolph!

It’s Your World.
