Many black and brown women are skipping Women’s March 2018 due to lack of inclusion and the apparent focus on white women, their needs, wants and agenda.

Much of this carries over from the 2017 Women’s March and with the current administration in the White House a good amount of black women are fed up. Especially after finding out that the majority of white women voted for the current president and condone a wide array of the policies and ideals put forth.

How can black (and brown) women make significant progress in society without co-opting or riding along with people who overtly or covertly dislike us and only turn our way when it benefits them?
